Garage Goals: Seal Out Drafts and Dirt This Fall!

Roof Cables

Fall is our favorite time of year to do projects around the house and yard. It’s not too hot, not too cold, and we get to reward ourselves with a nice harvest beer or pumpkin spice latte when we’re done. Now that the weather’s getting chillier, it’s the perfect opportunity to get your garage in gear by sealing out drafts, dust, dirt, insects and water. Whether you have a wooden, metal or vinyl garage door, Frost King has a garage door seal to help protect you from the elements.

Wooden Garage Door
For a wooden garage door, you’ll need our rubber garage door bottom seal. This nail-on seal cushions overhead wooden garage doors and has a special channel shape to compensate for uneven concrete or uneven doors. It comes in sizes for one or two car garages.

Metal Garage Door
If you have an aluminum or metal overhead garage door, try our vinyl garage door weather seal. Available in sizes for one or two car garages, this garage door weather seal is designed to replace the insert in most popular brands of metal overhead garage doors.

Vinyl Garage Door
For vinyl or plastic garage doors, we offer garage door top and side seal made of nail-on neoprene rubber. This garage door weatherstrip kit works for one or two door garages and can also be used for swing-open garage doors.

For materials, all you’ll need are a tape measure, a pencil, a utility knife, and a hammer and nails. Need some installation tips? Check out this handy video!
